You Rock, Mr. Freiberg!

Howdy people in stampingland! I'm so happy its Friday, and a 3 day weekend too! I hope you have some wonderful big plans for yourself. Me? Well, I have a date with my weeds. If you have nothing else to do, then come on over and help. I'll feed you :)

So this week was Teacher Appreciation Week at Grace's school. We donated homemade peanut butter cookies to their luncheon and then we made her teacher this little bowl of goodies:

He is crazy about Angles Baseball and while I would have loved to have given him tickets to a game, I just couldn't swing that. So we gave him a family movie night:

A $5 gift card for a movie from Blockbuster, a six pack of IBC Rootbeer, Red Vines, Gummi Bears, popcorn, and his fave, M&M's. Cost me less than $20 bucks and I'm sure his family will love it.

Check out the cool card I made him:

I typed up the "All Star teacher" on the computer and then just cut it into a banner. I used a bamboo skewer for the stick. Cute, no? I used the Independence Day set for all the stars and a retired star eyelet for the middle.
Grace wrote a nice little note to go inside. I did too. We are very lucky to have Mr. F for her teacher this year. He is so patient and kind and Lord knows she needs that.
So go forth and have fun this weekend. And if you know any teachers, tell them thanks.
