Here is a pic of the card we'll be making at our monthly meeting. Cute huh? I guess I should have taken a pic of it opened too. Wait let me do that.......................................................................

quick ain't I?

This idea started roaming around last week, or maybe the week before last, anyway I have no idea who would get credit for starting this idea, but I thank them deeply. I would actually put 3 brads in the middle of each flower but I didn't have enough to go around for everyone to do that. Gotta make it fair ya know. They can put whatever they want on the little tag. I wish I had a Happy Mother's Day stamp.

I've been helping with state testing at work. I have a new teacher I'm working with this year. I didn't realize what a testing Nazi I am. Is it just me or does it not make sense for students to stay in their seat when they're done and not disturb everyone else? I won't go into other details. I'm all about positivity around here. Is that a word? sounds good doesn't it?

I'm having a Paper Bag Scrapbook class in a few weeks and I may unleash this blog to my unsupecting customers so they can follow what I'm doing with it. I guess I better get better at posting to it huh? And maybe even tell them the class is happening. Yeah, thats an idea.......

I'm still trying to get all the Display samples done. I've only gotten 1/4 of them finished. Crunch time is coming!!!

Have a happy day!

howdy, howdy, howdy (said in my best impression of Hamm doing an impression of Woody) I fell off the stampin' train....

I got the Artisan Award stuff done and sent off, although I think I sent it too late so I don't even qualify anymore. Too late to obsess over it now though. Maybe I'll win something else. Although $1000 in prizes and notoriety would have been nice.

So now, I'm working on the Display stamper stuff. Although I haven't touched it in 2 days. It got so hot here and we're all back in school. I need to find a rhythm. So I have nothing new to show you. Wait, maybe I can look for something older.................................................................................

This is a card I made for a sweetie pie friend of mine a long time ago. Super easy huh? Go make one yourself and send it to someone! We (I) always am making cards but I just never send them very often. So go! Stamp! and make someone happy

Wow! Almost a whole week has gone by already. I've got to get better about posting every few days if I'm going to let the world know about this little blog.

Easter was very relaxing. The Easter bunny brought kites and wooden puzzles for the baskets. We only live 4 houses away from a park and we had perfect weather. I laid in the grass staring at the clouds. And, I thought to myself, I wonder how many years its been since I've laid in the grass and just watched the clouds...................then, I realized I was laying in rabbit poop. ahhhhh, such is my life.

Anyway, you can see that we got special Transformer and Iron Man kites. Grace got Winnie the Pooh.

The boy found Star Wars egg kits at Target and had to have it.

The girls used a groovy tie die kit I found. In all their glory...................................

Okay, I thought I'd throw a card in here too. I've been getting drunk off of the ol' creative brain juices lately trying to get the Artisan Award stuff done, (mailed off today..........finally) and getting things started for the Display stamper stuff.

Did I tell you I was "invited" to be a Display Stamper? Very cool baby! I got new never before seen stuff, from the new, never before seen catalog, coming out in July to make samples with for Convention. Sadly, I won't be going to convention :( Poor me, I know. But stuff I made will be there and that will be good enough. Okay, not really but I'm trying to make myself feel better.

So I can't show you anything that I've been doing for the contest or for the Display stamper stuff. Very hush, hush...............sssshhhhh.

So, I'll show you this card I made way back when. Uses kraft and Pacific Point, and Baja Breeze cardstock. I kinda like it. So now you go stamp something.

Happy Easter!

I hope you all have a wonderful day with family and friends. Kids just left to go fly the kites I left in their Easter baskets.

We are reflecting on the special meaning of today. My youngest is getting older and really asking some interesting questions. Its been fun as we are learning more and more about our Lord.

I'll have some new stuff to show you tomorrow.

Happy Easter!

I'm still trying to finish my Artisan Award projects. Ever notice that when you feel the pressure of getting something done, you have no ideas? They have to be my ideas, not someone elses. I'm drowning....................

Here is something that is driving me nuts today:

You ever wake up in the morning and a song is playing in your head? Or when I go to bed at night and I'm thinking when I should be sleeping, and I have a song playing in my head in the background. Please tell me you all do this!

This morning I woke up with a song that I used to sing all the time when I was a kid. I have no idea who sings it or what the title is. I only know the chorus.....I think. Here it is, let me know if you know it:

Hey, did you happen to see the most beautiful girl in the world?
Well, if you did, was she cry-ing ...........cry-ing
Hey, did you happen to see the most beautiful girl, walk out on me?
Tell her I'm sorry.
Tell her I need my baby.
Ohhhhhh won't you tell her that I love her.

Now that I'm older my thought on this song is: go tell her yourself, loser! Geez, don't make someone else make up for you!

Okay, thats all for now. What song did you wake up with this morning?

taxes are done!

I finally got the taxes done. Not getting back as much as usual. Didn't make the hubby happy about that. Oh well, this is the first year in 16 years that I haven't had daycare expenses! It felt kinda weird. My babies are really growing up!

Stampin' news: Stampin' Up! has a really big contest every year called the Artisan Award. I had never entered before but this year I decided to give it a try. REALLY great prizes! You need to make 5 cards, 3 scrap pages, and 2 3D items. I'm halfway done. I can't show you anything yet. What I have done so far is really awesome though. Well, I think so anyway. BUT, what was I thinking?

I have also been invited to be a display stamper. I had sent in some samples last year and I guess they saved them. Which I'm very excited about. They only pick 20-25 people to do this. I feel very special! SU! sent me brand new never before seen product to make samples, (ALOT of samples), for the display boards at convention. I won't be going but, how cool is this? I can't show you anything at all. Very hush hush........

So I want to get the Artisan samples done and sent in before the 20th and then the display samples have to be done and sent in by the middle of May. I don't know if I'm creative enough to get all this done. Send your creative mojo good thoughts my way.

Here is a card for you. I pretty much copied it out of last month's Paper Crafts mag. I love that mag. Good for a manly birthday huh?

Have a wonderful day and go stamp something!

YAY!! Saturday

I had our monthly stamp meeting last night. 3 of our members were out either playing or sick or tired. GEEZ! Everybody had great excuses actually, and the hostess last night actually had 4 of her own friends come! So we had a great time even though our other friends weren't there.

Here is one of the cards we made. They could use whatever word they wanted from the Wonderful Favorite set. This is really bright in the daytime. Like, ya need your sunglasses! Super cinchy and easy to make. This is for my MIL for Mother's Day. Check me out, I'm early with something!

supplies: Wonderful Favorite and Cheep Talk sets ink: tangerine tango, summer sun, ridinghood red paper: kiwi kiss, tangerine tango, whisper white, Good Morning Sunshine DSP

These little beauties are what I made to give to my club members. BUT I forgot to add the candy and I forgot to even take them last night! Good thing everyone wasn't there ;) Now I'll just to get them to them before Easter. With candy in them hopefully.

The funny thing is, the kids keep asking if they are for them. Like they even care! All they want is the candy! Every Valentine's Day I make them a cute little package that has candy in it with their little card and every Valentine's Day they eat the candy, read my card full of love and then give me back the package.

Okay, I'm starting to ramble. I haven't taken a pic of the other card we made last night. So super cute though. I'll get it up soon.

Have a happy day and go stamp something!

Me? I'm going to do taxes UGH!! wish me luck

stamp a stack is over!

geez! I can't even figure out how to add pics the way I want!

Anyway, these are the cards we made at the stamp a stack. This one right here with the red ribbon, I totally ripped off of Nichole Heady and Andrea Walford. I'll figure out how to add their links in here someday. And the blue one? I ripped that off of Valerie Stangle. I just love her work.

Like these cards? I'll send you the supplies or show you how to do them. Or if you'd like a list of supplies, Just shoot me an email stamperbeth@msn.com Everything is SU!

I {heart} SU!
