checking off that to-do list

I just love crossing things off the to-do list. Don't you? Of course you do.

I needed to make a Thank You card for my awesome neighbors who took care of the animals while we were gone. I know, I know.............we've been back a week and I'm just getting to it.

It took me 2 hours of kid interruptions to finally decide I needed a little inspiration. So I hopped on the computer and checked out the Stamping 411 site for at least some sketch help. I haven't been able to participate in one of their challenges for so long. It feels good to be back. They do have the most awesome sketches.

Between the sketch, and the fact I told the kids they would have to dust and vacuum and clean toilets if they didn't leave me alone for half an hour, I was successful.

What do you think?

Inspired by Nature, Woodgrain background, Flight of the Butterfly and Whimsical Words (SAB) sets. Soft suede, kraft and whisper white cardstock. Old olive, more mustard and soft suede inks. 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches and dimensionals.

See those perty werds? That is a new Sale-A-Bration (SAB) set. You can get them for FREE!! AND, they are clear mounted! What the heck is clear mounted you ask? Well let me show you:

They come in this groovy DVD case. Nice for storage eh?

They are still made from our super duper wonderful etched rubber so you get a clean crisp image.

They have a sticker thingy that goes on the back of them. Now it would have been super smart of me to actually show you one mounted on a clear block but hey, apparently I don't think of these things until after the fact. So use your imagination with me here.
You take the stamp off the case and stick it to the clear block so you're looking at the sticker. And let me tell you, I don't have any yet but our clear blocks are nice and thick and grooved on the sides just like our wood.
SU! is offering all the SAB and Occasions Mini sets in either wood mounted or unmounted. Cool eh? You can check out those mini catalogs on the side bar over there.
Thats all for today folks. We had our Christmas with my inlaws yesterday and we had a great time. I'll show you the final cards I made for Mother tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings, b.
